Empower50women: Design Thinking for Gender Equality

By Tfurndabi Tawong Cornelius | Project Leader

As of now, the project has raised $50 towards the total fundraising goal. While this is a modest start, it reflects initial community interest and support for the initiative.

Challenges Faced

Limited financial contributions have hindered the ability to launch program activities. There may be a need for increased outreach to raise awareness about the project’s benefits. Establishing private sector partnerships requires time and strategic planning.

Next Steps

Develop targeted strategies to increase fundraising efforts, including online campaigns and community events.

Conduct workshops and information sessions to inform the community about the project and its potential impact.

Reach out to local businesses and organizations to secure collaborations that will support the initiative.

Conclusion

The "Empower Douala's Women and Youth" project is poised to make a significant impact on the local community by equipping participants with essential skills for economic empowerment. While the current fundraising progress is limited, the commitment to fostering inclusivity and sustainability remains strong. Continued efforts in fundraising and community engagement will be crucial to achieving our goals and empowering future generations across Cameroon.
