This year, Msichana Imara Foundation continued to strengthen its fundraising and partnership efforts to support the successful implementation of planned activities. These efforts aim to build sustainable collaborations that enhance impact, expand reach and ensure long-term support for young mothers and their families. The focus remains on improving wellbeing and strengthening household economic stability.
Beyond economic empowerment, the project also supports young mothers in exploring pathways for education reintegration. Guided by Tanzania’s re-entry policy, efforts are underway to help them understand available opportunities to return to school. This process is approached with careful consideration of their wellbeing, as well as the safety and care of their children, while also encouraging dialogue with families and the wider community to build acceptance and support.
These combined efforts are not only improving immediate livelihoods but also creating long-term opportunities for education and personal development.
The project remains committed to fostering a supportive and dignified environment where young mothers can rebuild their futures, strengthen resilience and access pathways toward sustainable independence.
