Empowering Local NGOs, Transforming 1,000+ Lives
GlobalGiving Project Progress Report
Implemented by: Moses Welfare Foundation, Pakistan
Project Goal: $3,000
Amount Raised: $331
Remaining: $2,669
Donations Received: 1
Project Duration: 1 year
Target: 3 grassroots NGOs and 1,000+ people reached
One Gift Can Reach Far Beyond One Person
In Pakistan, small grassroots organizations are working quietly in communities where poverty, illness, disasters, and lack of educational opportunities affect everyday life.
They are often close to the people who need help most.
They know the families.
They know the villages.
They know which children have no school supplies, which families cannot afford medicine, and which communities need urgent assistance after a crisis.
But there is one major obstacle:
They often do not have the financial resources to respond.
This project was created with a simple belief:
When we strengthen people who are already serving their communities, we can multiply the impact of every donated dollar.
Through targeted micro-grants, Moses Welfare Foundation aims to support three vetted grassroots NGOs in Pakistan, helping them continue and strengthen their work in education, healthcare, emergency assistance, and other essential community services.
Together, our goal is to help these organizations reach and uplift more than 1,000 vulnerable people.
Our Fundraising Progress
We are grateful to the donor who has already supported this initiative.
So far, the project has raised:
$331 of $3,000
We still need:
$2,669 to reach our goal.
Although we are still at the beginning of this journey, the vision remains strong.
With sufficient support, this project can help small community organizations continue serving people who might otherwise have nowhere else to turn.
The Challenge: Small Organizations, Big Needs
Many grassroots NGOs operate with very limited resources.
Their teams may be deeply committed, but commitment alone cannot purchase medicines, school supplies, food, emergency materials, or other necessities.
Small organizations can also struggle to access institutional funding because they may lack the connections, visibility, or administrative capacity required by larger funding institutions.
As a result, an organization may be ready to help a community but unable to raise the relatively small amount needed to act.
This creates a painful gap:
The need exists.
The people are ready to serve.
But the resources are missing.
This project seeks to help close that gap.
Our Solution: Small Grants, Local Action
Moses Welfare Foundation plans to provide targeted micro-grants to three carefully selected grassroots NGOs whose work directly benefits vulnerable communities.
Depending on identified needs and approved activities, support may help organizations provide:
The purpose is not simply to provide organizations with funding.
It is to give them the ability to turn local knowledge and community commitment into practical action.
Why Support Local NGOs?
A large organization may have extensive resources, but grassroots organizations often have something equally valuable:
Local organizations are already connected to the communities they serve.
They understand local circumstances, cultural realities, urgent needs, and the most vulnerable people.
When a small grant reaches a capable grassroots organization, it can move quickly from funding to action.
A relatively modest investment can therefore help unlock services that might otherwise be delayed or never delivered.
The Multiplier Effect
This project is built around a powerful idea:
Support the people who are already helping others.
Instead of focusing on one individual intervention, we aim to strengthen three local organizations that can collectively reach hundreds of people.
Our target is to help these partner organizations contribute to improved lives for 1,000+ people through education, healthcare, emergency support, and community assistance.
The impact can extend beyond the initial grant.
A stronger organization can become more capable of:
In this way, today's small grant can become tomorrow's larger community impact.
A Story Behind the Numbers
Behind every number is a person.
The “1,000+ lives” we hope to reach are not simply statistics.
They may be children who need the opportunity to learn.
They may be parents who cannot afford essential medicine.
They may be families whose homes or livelihoods have been affected by disaster.
They may be people living in communities where outside assistance rarely reaches.
And behind each of these people are dreams, responsibilities, families, and hopes for a better tomorrow.
When we strengthen the organizations standing beside them, we strengthen the communities themselves.
Building Long-Term Community Resilience
Our vision goes beyond one funding cycle.
We want grassroots organizations to become stronger, more stable, and better equipped to continue their work.
With appropriate support, local NGOs can build experience, demonstrate results, develop partnerships, and become more visible to future supporters.
This creates a pathway toward greater sustainability.
Rather than simply responding to today's needs, we want to help build organizations that can continue responding to tomorrow's challenges.
Our Commitment to Responsible Support
Moses Welfare Foundation recognizes that donor trust is essential.
Micro-grants under this project will be directed toward vetted grassroots organizations and clearly identified community needs, with appropriate documentation, monitoring, and reporting.
We want supporters to know that their generosity is being used with purpose.
Our goal is to connect donors with meaningful local action while maintaining accountability and transparency.
We Need Your Help
Only $331 of the $3,000 goal has been raised so far.
That leaves $2,669 still needed.
We are asking compassionate donors to help us build this bridge between grassroots organizations and the communities they serve.
Your donation can help provide the small amount of funding that allows a local organization to act when a community needs help.
You don't have to help everyone alone.
You can help strengthen the people who are already working to help others.
And when three organizations become stronger, their reach can extend to hundreds of children, families, and vulnerable people.
Give More Than a Grant: Create a Ripple of Hope
A small grant can purchase school supplies.
It can help provide essential medicine.
It can support emergency assistance.
But its impact can go much further.
It can help an organization remain active.
It can help a child continue learning.
It can help a family receive assistance at a critical moment.
It can help a community become more resilient.
One grant can create many acts of compassion.
We invite you to become part of this effort.
Help us raise the remaining $2,669.
Help us strengthen three grassroots NGOs.
Help us work toward reaching 1,000+ lives.
When local organizations are empowered, communities become stronger. When communities become stronger, hope has a place to grow.
