Human Rights First Rwanda Association through this project of empowering HIV/Aids women contributed Live-stocks to women who are HIV/Aids in Kamonyi to boost their nutrition and Income.
The first bunch of the women to receive the livestock are happy in that the milk has boosted their health and the manure obtained from the animals has been used as fertilizer to their crops which has lead to increment in their farm yields.
In order to maximize the impact of the project the first beneficiaries are tasked to give out a calf once the cow produces to another member of the group.
With the newly acquired livestock the women who were shunned in the community have elevated their status in society and hence this has made them to have hope in life and to live productive lives.
