Nazhoen Lamtoen offers protection and facilitation to marginalized children and youth in Bhutan. Among the various child welfare and safeguarding mechanisms implemented by Nazhoen Lamtoen, this project specifically focuses on supporting vulnerable children and youth through education assistance and life-skills development, fostering resilience and long-term self-sufficiency. Your support helps provide shelter, care, education and skilling, turning their crisis into a chance for a better future.
Many children and youth in Bhutan among the marginalized population face challenges like poverty, neglect, and lack of access to education and vocational training. Without support, they remain vulnerable to abuse, exploitation and exclusion. This project empowers these vulnerable children and youth by providing life skills training and vocational programs that build their confidence and employability, helping over 200 children gain the tools they need for independent, sustainable futures.
This project offers life skills training, vocational education, and mentorship to vulnerable children and youth under our care. Participants gain practical abilities, school support, and access to learning materials. It also provides guidance in job readiness and entrepreneurship, empowering them to become self-reliant and safe in all aspects of life. Through ongoing support, the project helps break the cycle of poverty and equips over 200 youth with tools for a sustainable, independent future.
Our project aims to break the cycle of poverty by equipping vulnerable children and youth with essential life skills training and education support. Over time, we are hoping to support 200 young beneficiaries who will gain vocational skills, sustainable employment or start their own businesses, leading to improved economic stability and self-reliance. This empowerment fosters safer communities, reduces social vulnerability, and creates lasting positive change for generations to come.
