Darsfoundation aims at alleviating poverty of women and the youths in RuralGhana through integrated sustainable afforestation programs, slowing rural-urban drift, contributing to creation of sustainable jobs. The project also aims at addressing the low level of #technologies #productivity in rural Ghana. We aims at addressing this deficiency through transfer of technology, thereby improving the low level of technology and productivity & aiding in improving the low income levels of beneficiaries.
Rural areas are failing to provide opportunity and are losing their young people. This has major consequences at local, national & global level. It can erode national economies, political stability & food security. If few opportunities are available in rural areas, they are likely to migrate overseas or to urban centres, even though youth unemployment rates are generally higher in urban areas, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa. Now we've over 1.2 billion youth & women at 15-24 years unemployed
Solutions Training: Capacity building for women & youths in high income generating sustainable farming. Empowerment: Agribusiness financing & development of women & youth groups interested in integrated sustainable organic farming. Markets: Providing alternative markets for sales of agri produce. Addressing the drivers of environmental degradation by establishing community agroforests for sustainable farming in RuralGhana. Addressing women, youth unemployment & migration in sustainable farming.

Joining global efforts in curbing global warming (climate change) by providing carbon sinks [through carbon sequestration].
