Avuxeni - Today I want to encourage YOU!

By Louise and the KTD196 Dream Team | Jack of all trades, master of none!

Avuxeni, Minjane! Um Fekile Minjani!

Every time you give, you encourage me! You encourage the children that we share! You give us the ability to hope and dream about what could be and in many cases, because of you, the children are able to achieve their dreams! They dared to dream when so much around them was pulling them down or into bad choices, but then you happened.

You are an intracle puzzle piece that fits into their lives and into the life force of KTD196.

Have you ever noticed a puzzle piece has both protrusions and hollows? Imagine you are this puzzle piece, in order for you to be locked in, you are made secure by the gifts you bring to a situation but also by the gaps you have! What do I mean? Well imagine you are this puzzle piece, you fit into other pieces of the puzzle by sharing the gifts that you bring but the gaps that you have to allow you to fit into other pieces, people just like you but with complimentary gifts, that also locks you into place. Whether it is a family, a community, a job, or society as a whole, we all need to "fit" in order to be complete.

Often we focus on the deficits and try to compensate for those deficits when we just weren't made that way. We have a tendency to want to give to situations not to have noticeable gaps or be vulnerable and exposed in our deficits. However that is what makes us human, we need others in order to be whole!

I would often become frustrated with my gaps, try and become someone else, and put myself under stress to change only to find that I would stress myself out by trying to be someone I was not. Don't get me wrong, we can learn new skills, acquire new knowledge, and also fake it till you make it attitude, but the reality is, we are only fooling ourselves and preventing others who are gifted in those areas from shining and locking us into to a secure bigger picture!

I believe we all have God-given talents and strengths. We also have God-given deficits because without the deficits we would not need each other, we would not need community, and we would not create the world we want to see. We all need to be present to complete the picture. Often we can say "We are not enough!" we can look at this world and all its struggles, but personally as long as we are present, as long as we are in the correct place, linked in, we are more than enough.

You have chosen to engage with KTD196 and our kids, you have become an extremely important piece of their puzzle, and you have supported, encouraged, and provided resources to assist our kids to become complete. That is an amazing gift you have given! Dare I say that in return, we complete the gap that you have, the need to be locked in and to make a difference! To be part of the solution.

For those of you who already give on a monthly basis, thank you for being a part of our community, a part of our puzzle. If you are not yet a recurring donor, I would warmly invite you to consider setting up a reoccurring donation on a monthly basis. Consistent support is the key as this is the best way to ensure ongoing impact.

Thank you so much!

God Bless you

Louise
