Empowering Girls with Sewing Machines

Today, Karitas Relief Mission held a meeting with the girls who will participate in the sewing training program. The girls were very excited and ready to begin learning. During the meeting, we explained how the training will help them gain practical sewing skills that can support their future and help them become more self-reliant. The girls expressed great interest and enthusiasm, and many were eager to begin using the sewing machines. They are now waiting for the training to officially start. Karitas Relief Mission is preparing to begin the practical lessons and guide the girls step by step in learning how to operate the sewing machines. We are grateful to our GlobalGiving supporters for making this opportunity possible.

We are happy to share an update on our project to empower vulnerable girls in the village with sewing skills and vocational training.

At this stage, the girls are eagerly waiting for the sewing course to begin. They are excited about the opportunity to learn a practical skill that can help them become more self-reliant and improve their future opportunities.

Many of the girls come from families with limited financial resources, making it difficult for them to continue with education or access vocational training. The opportunity to learn tailoring and sewing gives them hope that they can develop a skill they may use to earn an income in the future.

The girls have already shown great interest in the program and are looking forward to starting their lessons. We are currently preparing for the training and organizing the necessary arrangements so that the girls can begin learning as soon as possible.

The sewing machines will provide the practical tools needed for hands-on training. Through the course, the girls will learn basic sewing and tailoring skills and gradually gain confidence in using the machines.
