6th update on Empowering Greek Rural Heroes with Business Skills

By Erica Lympousi | Development Manager

Following the successful completion of the 2025 cycle, we are now focused on preparing the next phase of “AgroAnelixi – Farmers of the Future,” which will run for the 7th consecutive year, with its launch expected in late April 2026.

This period is dedicated to designing and strengthening the upcoming cycle to ensure we continue delivering high-quality, targeted support to those who need it most.

“AgroAnelixi – Farmers of the Future” is a flagship, holistic business acceleration program supporting producers, very small agrifood businesses, food processing units, and cottage industries across Greece. It has become a cornerstone initiative in empowering the agrifood sector and fostering sustainable growth.

Impact so far (2020–2025):

  • 100 professionals supported through business development

  • 90 new or improved products developed

  • 850 hours of consulting delivered

  • 80 on-site visits conducted

  • 9 new collaborations created

  • 100% participant satisfaction (2023–2025)

These results highlight the tangible impact of targeted training and personalized support in empowering small agrifood entrepreneurs to grow sustainably and compete in an evolving market.

As we prepare for the next cycle, your continued support is more important than ever. With your help, we can reach even more small producers who need access to knowledge, tools, and guidance to thrive.

Support our mission and be part of the next chapter of AgroAnelixi. Together, we can empower rural entrepreneurs, strengthen local economies, and shape the future of sustainable agrifood in Greece.

Thank you for standing with us on this journey.
