Challenge

Indigenous Embera Eyavide communities are protectors of some of the most biodiverse habitats on Earth, but have been denied access to conservation training and resources. The endangered cotton-top tamarin and endangered baudo oropendola need protection. Chadiz's training will address these issues while promoting representation and equality for trans-women, creating a more inclusive conservation effort.

Solution

Your support will fund Chadiz's training, equipment, and educational materials, enabling her to become a full-time forest ranger. She will serve as a conservation ambassador, conducting workshops and teaching species monitoring to nine Indigenous communities, fostering understanding and unity.

Long-Term Impact

Chadiz's journey as a trailblazing Indigenous conservation leader will create a lasting impact by promoting inclusivity and awareness. The project's ripple effect will extend beyond species preservation, fostering community engagement and breaking down barriers to conservation in the long run. Your donation not only protects threatened species but also builds a more inclusive and sustainable future. Join us in empowering Chadiz and making a lasting impact on Indigenous conservation efforts.
