Dear friends,
Thank you for supporting Save a Life's work with persons with disabilities.
This quarter, we promoted inclusive technical and vocational education and training (TVET) pathways for young people in the Karachchi and Poonakary Divisions of Kilinochchi District, focused on climate-smart and green sectors. Save a Life Youth Ambassadors are the first point of contact, helping young people learn about training options and how to enrol. These inclusive pathways aim to make sure that young people who are often left out of training, including young persons with disabilities, can take part.
Why this matters. Young people with disabilities in rural Kilinochchi are often left out of training and jobs. Inclusive pathways into growing green sectors can open steady livelihoods and greater independence.
What's next. We will keep connecting young people in Karachchi and Poonakary with inclusive training opportunities. Your donations help us remove the practical barriers, such as transport and equipment, that keep young people with disabilities from taking part.
With gratitude,
The Save a Life team
