An Small IMPACT!!

My name is Bano & I am 40 years old. I live in Pisangan & I belong to the Muslim Community. I had to be deprived of education since childhood, after which I used to work in households chores & goat grazing. Illiteracy is a fact of my life that I have not forgotten yet. I have a husband, 3 daughters and son as my family. I also wished that I could cooperate with my husband in household expenses but my illiteracy was my biggest barrier & I could not do some employment.

After some time, I came to know about the project of a Women Program which is operated in collaboration with GG. I urged the representative of RSKS to join the self help group, after which I joined the Maa Women self help group. After joining the group we had a monthly meeting where we discussed about schemes in banking section, & savings. After some time I got the loan with the help of the bank. I opened a shop of peanuts & gram with the help of bank loan in the village market. Initially I had to face some problems because I had never ventured out to the house & employed, but over time everything will be fine and my peanuts & gram shop started running well.

Today I have 3 years associated with this project & I remain self reliant. Through the group there has been interaction with all women about end casteism. I have learned to fill & sign a bank transaction saving form even after I am illiterate. Now I do not feel that I am not illiterate. Today I have become so capable that I can stand up among the people in the society & keep my point. Now I am giving better education, health & nutrition to my family after joining this program. I have seen positive changes in myself. Now there has been a change in the perception of society that a woman can move out of the house & get employment. I express my gratitude to the RSKS and GG as they have changed my life.

Successful Glorious 27 Years !!

We feel Very proud to RSKS India completed Successful 27 years with #May_all_live_Happily and The organization has made its identity as a Leading & Highly Credible organization.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, like every year, has celebrated its Foundation Day on 2nd December 2019 this year. On this occasion, the activists of the RSKS organization celebrated this big bash with Helpless street and slum children. They cut cake, danced and enjoyed a lot in the celebration. Besides, Foundation Day celebration was organized in “Pathshala - school” and “Udan, a school for drop-out women” managed by RSKS India.

On the occasion of the Foundation Day, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sasnthan distributed woollen blankets to 45 poor families residing roadside so that they can protect themselves from the shivering cold. Similarly, a workshop was organized concerning legal rights of women. After the completion of the workshop, a rally was held in which women delivered awareness message for the prevention of violence against women to the society. In this series, 30 shaddy and fruitful trees were planted in a distant village in Ajmer where the participants took oath to keep trees conserved. In addition to this, Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sasnthan installed 21 eco-friendly nests at homes in the foothills of Aravali ranges for the conservation of sparrow. In order to provide better and sustainable livelihood to single mother, sewing machines were given to four such singale women with the support of GlobalGiving Foundation.

The Foundation Day was celebrated 11 places where almost 900 beneficiaries including women, girls, men and children enjoyed in the celebrations. The celebration also had importance as it was the Successful 27 years of RSKS India.

Rajasthan Samgrah Kalyan Sansthan, in these 27 years, has worked for more than one lakh marginalized and deprived people of 1050 villages. In order to make them self-reliant and empowered, the organization has put its significant efforts through several programs as vocational education, women empowerment, agricultural development, conservation of environment, educational development and sustainable livelihood and the organization still keeps putting its efforts for the same.

It is the guidance of GlobalGiving Foundation and the generous donations of all respectable donors that brings positive energy to us due to which our activists are always ready to put themselves into action with dedication and devotion for the development and empowerment of the deprived community. Empower Women; Ground Level IMPACT !!

RSKS INDIA is always working for Women Empowerment and is always taking new steps for that. For financial and societal strength all these marginal and poor village women are linked with self help groups, which provided them financial support by providing them micro loans so that they can start a business of their own or use this money as assistance to their business. From time to time we see the success stories of these women by our feedback forms. One of these success stories is shared in this report.

An Impact: Meet with SEETA.....

My name is SEETA (Name Changed) and my age is 37 years old. I live in Nooriyawas village & I belong to Rajput community. There is no emphasis on girls Education in my own community, due to which I studied till the 5th class, after which the family members denied me for the education. After marriage I am busy with my household work. I wanted to do some work but there was a ban on work outside the house which held me & at the same time, I was not so strong financially just because I can't do my own business.

3 years back I got information about these SHG’s and then I also nominated my name in the KALPANA SELF HELP GROUP. In every group meeting the team members of RSKS INDIA told us about banking and related activities. After some time we got a loan from the bank and I started handicraft, gota, jari fall business from the loan which I got. I used to go only one time in the market to take the order and then one more time to supply the finished goods in the market and I earned handsome money from this. From this earning I used to repay the loan and also helped in my family financial requirements.

An Impact: Meet with NARANGI .....

My name is NARANGI (Name Changed) and my age is 44 years old. I live in the village known as MOTISAR. My childhood was very poor. My father was a farmer and he was the only person who handles financial requirements of our family and because of this the financial condition of our family is very poor. After this I had a child marriage and then I was caged in between the house walls. My husband was a labor and then we had 2 daughters and 2 sons and their expenses was also a burden for us. I wanted to do some work to help my family but because of the poor financial condition I was not able to do this.

After some time, I came to know about the SHG program of RSKS INDIA which is only possible due to GG. I took all the information from the RSKS team members and then with the help of other village women we opened our SHG named as VIJAY LAXMI SHG. After getting linked with the bank I got a loan on a very low interest rate and with that loan I opened my own fruit and vegetable shop. I started selling my fruits and vegetables in the market of our village and I used to earn well from this business.

Today my loan has been fully repaid by me and my fruit and vegetable business is on growth. I do deposit my savings in the bank and also help in my family financial requirements. I also did my 2 children marriage and I am very thankful to GG and RSKS INDIA as all this was possible because of them only. Because of them now I am financially strong and my willpower is strong now. Now I do think to open a bigger shop in my village market so that I can earn more and for this I have started saving a lot.

Today I am self dependent and I have a solid income source and I do handle my household works with this. My husband supports me in my business and I fell happy because of that. After getting indulged with this program I came to know about the banking process very well. I thank RSKS and GG from the bottom of my heart for this work.
