Empowering Rural Women with Vocational Skills

Rural women and girls in rural Liberia continue to battle with multiple poverty issues because of the lack of income-generating skills and abilities. Rural women and girls are discriminated against with no equal rights all because of the lack of good financial status. Give Them Hope, Inc has been changing the story around by providing these very vulnerable rural women and girls with marketable vocational skills that they overcome multi-dimensional poverty and inequalities. We provide vocational training in pastry, soap making, gardening, and cattle raising so that these impoverished rural populations combat generational poverty which is the usual trend for rural women and girls. We conduct training also in small business management. We provide a wider platform to empower and equip these women to escape extreme poverty and gender-based violence all associated with low-income status.
