Thank you for your generous fundraising to help raise money for refurbishing World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens’ Podcast Studio.
These funds have been integral to its use today! The room is also often referred to as the Broadcast Room or the Production Room because it is now a multi-purpose room that provides allthese functions to our young musicians, as well as established musicians who make use of our state-of-the-artfacilities here in Nine Elms.
We have now added a Mac minicomputer installed with Logic Pro X music software, a pair of Adams studio monitors, keyboard, microphone and vocal isolator shield so the room can be used for pre-production and vocal recording sessions.
This facility offers a fantastic way for young producers and trainees alike to gain experience using and understanding studio techniques before graduating up to our main studio, which could be quite overwhelming without this invaluable stepping stone.
The room also houses our TriCaster broadcast system which allows us to do sophisticated streaming direct to platforms such as YouTube. We can deliver high quality streams with captions and images. Last November, we streamed four concerts from our run of ten shows as part of the London Jazz Festival and then delivered a stream for a private client as a paid event for their online audience.
Thank you for your generous support, and please visit us soon at World Heart Beat Embassy Gardens, Nine Elms, London.
We have a brilliant line-up of concerts from the worlds of jazz, classical, folk, contemporary and much more. You can also catch our young students performing, attend masterclasses, open days (try an instrument of your choice) or sit back and enjoy a coffee or a light bite in our cafe. From 12-15 March, we launch our first ever Piano in The Elms Festival– celebrating everything piano in the heart of Nine Elms. The festival promises to be a joyous date in the calendar that brings the piano to the heart of its community, showcasing phenomenal artists and providing performance opportunities for local talent of all ages and backgrounds, as well as free lessons for young people. Intimate café piano concerts, inspiring masterclasses and vibrant performances will help foster a deep sense of pride and connection across Nine Elms and beyond.
Thank you, World Heart Beat x
