We continue to build on the momentum of our initial implementation across the eight schools where we are currently operating. At present, we maintain more than 100 active students enrolled, 60% of whom are young women between the ages of 13 and 18. In February 2026, we will launch a new program at the Boys & Girls Club of San Luis Potosí, welcoming an additional cohort of 22 students into the model while strengthening our presence in Mexico.
To support this growth, we have trained new teachers who will assume leadership roles across each of our active programs. These educators come from diverse regions, including Colombia, El Salvador, and Mexico, bringing varied perspectives and reinforcing the collaborative and global nature of our learning communities. Their training focused on pedagogical leadership, cultural exchange, and hands-on instruction aligned with YTC’s educational model.
Our most recent Cultural Exchange was successfully completed and represented a significant milestone for the organization. For the first time, students from our Mozambique program joined the exchange, further expanding our international collaboration. Participants engaged in face-to-face robotics instruction, computer restoration workshops, and experiential learning activities, including a tour of the University of Illinois in Chicago. These experiences continue to strengthen cross-cultural understanding while deepening students’ technical and academic skills.
