Empowering Mexico's Youth Through STEM Education

Our programs in Mexico continue to grow, with sustained student engagement, continued regional collaboration, and strong evidence of students pursuing STEM pathways beyond their participation in the program. Following the summer break, our programs are preparing to resume activities and enter a new cycle of learning and development. We closed this period with 243 students participating across our programs nationwide, representing significant growth from the 125 students reported in our previous update.

San Luis Potosí:
Our program in San Luis Potosí continues to operate in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of San Luis Potosí. Following the summer break, the program is preparing to resume classes and continue building on the foundation established with the new cohort launched earlier this year. 

Durango and Mezquital:
In Durango and the Mezquital region, we recently celebrated and said goodbye to several students who graduated from high school. As part of our follow-up with graduating students, 76% shared that they plan to pursue studies related to STEM. This is an encouraging indicator of the program’s potential to influence students’ academic and professional pathways and demonstrates the value of providing sustained exposure to technology, robotics, and STEM skills during their secondary education.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Mexico City and State of Mexico:
Students from the Boys & Girls Clubs in Mexico City and the State of Mexico are preparing for the 2026 FIRST Tech Challenge season. Building on their previous experience advancing from the regional to the national level, students are continuing to strengthen their robotics, teamwork, problem-solving, and technical skills as they prepare for the upcoming competition season.

Aguascalientes:
Our program in Aguascalientes continues to stand out for its strong participation of young women. Since 2025, the program has been composed exclusively of female students, creating a space where girls can develop technical and robotics skills, build confidence, and explore opportunities in STEM. This continued participation highlights our commitment to increasing girls’ access to technology and encouraging their interest in STEM pathways.
