Project Report: Empowering 1,000 Youths Through Skills Development in Rural Uganda

We remain deeply committed to our mission of empowering 1,000 young people across rural Uganda with practical, life-changing skills. This project is designed to break the cycle of poverty and despair by unlocking the creative potential of youth and transforming it into a source of dignity, employment, and sustainable income.

Through this initiative, participants will receive hands-on training in beadwork, basket weaving, tailoring, paper crafts, and recycled art, all using locally available materials. These skills are carefully selected to ensure accessibility, sustainability, and relevance to local markets.

Beyond technical training, the project will provide mentorship in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and marketing. This holistic approach ensures that beneficiaries are not only skilled but also equipped to turn their talents into viable income-generating opportunities, fostering long-term self-reliance and economic empowerment.

At this stage, we would like to transparently share that the project has not yet received any donations. However, we remain hopeful and committed. The project continues to stay live on GlobalGiving, as we believe in its potential to create meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of young people.

Thanks to your generous support, our project has successfully empowered over 200 entrepreneurs in Uganda since 2022, helping them grow sustainable businesses, improve livelihoods, and strengthen their communities. Through training, mentorship, and access to startup resources, participants have increased income, created jobs, and gained confidence to overcome economic challenges.
