Help Empowerment Facilitators Reach 700 Teen Girls

Dear Friends,

As we approach the end of the year, Project Soar is sending gratitude to You, our dedicated supporters: our facilitators could not carry out the incredible work they do without your generous contribution! 

Now that the new academic year of our core PSB program - Project Soar in a Bag - has kicked off, old and new extraordinary facilitators have spread their wings and are successfully carrying out the mission of empowering more and more teen girls from rural Morocco. 

As the years go by, we realize more and more how essential the figure of the empowerment facilitator is in the everyday lives of the beneficiary girls, and that is why we try more and more to organize events and trainings so that they can learn and share joys and difficulties, so that the path with the girls becomes more and more focused. 

“The impact that I have seen from Project Soar on the girls is really clear, especially the girls who were shy and the girls who dropped out of school or were thinking about it. My friend facilitator and I went to about six of these girls’ houses. They learned from Project Soar important lessons such as the value of education, self confidence and resilience, thus we were able to get some of these girls back to school.” - Khadija, Empowerment Facilitator
