Journey of Empowering Lives Through Scholarships

By Ozgun Turkoz | Project Coordinator

In our latest update, we highlighted our significant progress towards the goal of awarding scholarships to 2000 students for the upcoming 2023-24 academic year. We are thrilled to announce that we have not only achieved but surpassed this target, reaching a total of over 3100 students. As BTF family, our sincere thanks go out to the dedicated supporters, whose generous contributions are not just providing educational equality to students in Turkey but also positively shaping their educational paths. Through your support, we are steadfast in ensuring that our esteemed students, who represent the future of our nation, have equal educational opportunities. Your commitment is making a profound impact on the lives and futures of these individuals.

Empowerment Scholarships: A Guiding Light of Hope

In a landscape marked by challenges, our scholarship initiative emerges as a beacon of hope for college students grappling with financial barriers. Acknowledging the impediments that often shadow their educational aspirations due to financial constraints, our scholarships radiate like beacons, providing a bridge to a profound and transformative academic journey that might otherwise be obscured.

As we step into the 2023-24 academic year, our Empowerment Scholarship program has embraced approximately 2000 students. This signifies not just a numerical achievement but a collective effort to uplift individuals, empowering them to surmount obstacles on their journey toward self-improvement. Together, we are not only dispersing financial aid but also kindling the flame of hope that lights the way for countless futures.

Earthquake Scholarships: Lighting the Way to a Brighter Future

In the aftermath of the devastating Kahramanmaras earthquake, our Earthquake Scholarships initiative has emerged as a guiding light, reaching approximately 1300 students. Our mission is to not only alleviate the profound impact of the earthquake but also to empower these students to navigate their educational journeys with resilience.

With a focus on providing both scholarships and crucial technological support, we aim to eradicate the lingering effects of the earthquake and facilitate the successful progression of our students. In doing so, we aspire to instill hope and restore a sense of normalcy to their lives.

Furthermore, under the umbrella of our CATE project, we have embraced a total of 95 amputee children in our scholarship program, with the aim of extending this support to over 150 in the near future. This endeavor is a testament to our commitment to making a meaningful impact in the lives of these students, and we take pride in the strides we are making with your generous support. Together, we are not just providing educational assistance; we are illuminating the way to a brighter and more promising future for these resilient individuals.

Together, we are crafting a brighter and more hopeful tomorrow for the students who truly deserve it.
