Kicking off a New Semester: BTF's Continuing Support for College Students

By Deniz Erdal | Intern

As we begin the second semester of the 2024-2025 academic year, we are reminded of the transformative power of education and the pivotal role our donors play in making education accessible to thousands of students. The academic year thus far has been one of growth, resilience, and hope for the many students who benefited from your generosity. Now, as we prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the new academic term, we invite you to continue this journey with us.

Empowering the Future: Scholarships That Change Lives

For many students, the road to higher education is filled with financial uncertainty. College students, especially those far from home, often face hardships that extend beyond the classroom. With your support, we’ve been able to bridge that gap by offering Empowerment Scholarships. For this academic year, thanks to your generosity we have been able to increase the number of students we support to over 3,400, an increase of 300 students from the previous year. This has brought the total number of students supported for the lifetime of the program to over 14,500.

As we move into the new academic year, we remain committed to further increasing our reach, but we cannot do so without your help. Your continued support enables us to assist even more students, ensuring they can pursue their education without financial barriers.

Looking Ahead

The upcoming academic year presents new opportunities for growth, innovation, and impact. With your continued generosity, we aim to:

  • Expand the Empowerment Scholarship Program to reach even more students in need.
  • Provide essential technological resources to help students thrive academically.

As we prepare for the new semester and the upcoming 2025-26 academic year, we know that your involvement is key to making these goals a reality. We thank you for standing with us, and we invite you to renew your commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of students across Türkiye. Together, we can ensure that every student has the opportunity to pursue their dreams and contribute to a brighter future for all!

How You Can Help:

  • Sponsor a student: Your donation can provide a young individual with the resources they need to thrive throughout this academic term.
  • Contribute to our scholarship fund: Ensure that more students from underserved regions can access quality education.
  • Volunteer your time: Share your skills or assist with our upcoming events.
