When we shared the progress of this project with the kids, we hesitated.
What we have raised seemed too little.
But before we could say anything more, they began to applaud.
In that moment, they reminded us of something we always tell them: every journey begins with a single step. To them, what mattered was not how far we had gone—but that the journey had begun.
Imagine living in a country known around the world for its wildlife—yet never seeing a single wild animal.
For many of these kids, elephants, zebras, and antelope are not real experiences. They are stories. Pictures in textbooks. Names spoken in classrooms. Wonders that exist somewhere out there—but not in their everyday lives.
This project is about changing that.
It is about the moment a kid sees an elephant for the first time—not on a page, but standing, breathing, real.
The moment wonder replaces distance.
The moment a young mind begins to feel that this natural heritage belongs to them too.
We are preparing to take 40 kids on this life-changing experience—one that can spark curiosity, pride, and a lifelong connection to conservation.
As the festive season approaches, we are hopeful. We believe that donors like you can turn this into a meaningful Christmas gift—not one wrapped in paper and delivered by an old man through the chimney, but one lived and remembered for a lifetime.
What feels like a small beginning today holds the potential to become something far greater.
We believe in that possibility.
And we believe in you—to help turn this first step into a journey these kids will never forget.
And most likely your donation will create a future conservationist. We believe in you
