A Pathway to a good Career
By Andrew Mullens | Kimbilio Support
Thank you for your generous support for this Kimbilio Project which enables six former street children to be able to go to University in Lubumbashi. These students are now in the second year of their degree courses and enjoying the opportunity to pursue courses at this level and to gain the skills that should lead into really good careers afterwards.
These young men have been on a long journey from their life on the streets of Lubumbashi through their time in the Kimbilio houses to their places at university. The way that their lives have been turned around is testament to the work of the Kimbilio team in Lubumbashi and to the generosity of supporters such as you. Thank you again for your support.

Thank you for your generous support for this Kimbilio Project which enables six former street children to be able to go to University in Lubumbashi. These students are now in the second year of their degree courses and enjoying the opportunity to pursue courses at this level and to gain the skills that should lead into really good careers afterwards.
What a journey these six students are on. From the emptiness and unhappiness of life on the streets through to a bright future after university education. Their journey encapsulates the ethos of Kimbilio - to be able to give hope to street children and to ensure that they feel valued and loved. The provision of education is at the heart of the work of Kimbilio, and the provision of financial support for university courses follows on from the construction of the Kimbilio School for street children.
Thank you.

Our University Students
Thank you very much for your donations to the Kimbilio Project that enables former street children to go to university. Because of your donations, these five young men, who were rescued from life on the streets of Lubumbashi by the Kimbilio team of carers, are having their university tuition fees paid and they have the opportunity to gain the skills that will give them the chance of a very good career.
Everyone deserves the opportunity of a good education, particularly those whose family situations have led to them leaving home and living on the streets. At the moment, many of the former street children go to the new Kimbilio school. Education is the key to them being able as an adult to get a good job and to be able to support their family. By offering these children the chance to go on to university, Kimbilio is enabling those who wish to pursue their education to degree level the opportunity to do so.
