Report on the MonkeyPox
Much as we did not raise enough funds to embark on awareness activities, currently the MonkeyPox has been managed and is under control, and it is no longer a big problem in DRC. However the country is facing outbreak of various other health issues from time to time which need our vigilance, yet this cannot be done if we do not have the necessary funding. As per now DRC is struggling with another outbreak disease which remains unknown and which has claimed the lives of so many people.
Generally most of these diseases are related to contacts with wide animals among the populations living near the Forests, this why we need to act and provide people with livelihood alternatives alongside awareness activities. Again if this is done, then we shall have a reduced outbreak of diseases in DRC. However once again we have not yet received enough funds for this.
