With just 2 generous donors, this project has taken its first brave steps toward ending Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) in vulnerable Nigerian communities. Your early support is more than a donation, it is a statement that girls’ bodies and futures matter.

Because of you, we have begun laying the groundwork for community engagement. Our team is mapping high-risk rural areas, identifying survivor advocates, and initiating conversations with local partners, schools, and traditional leaders. These early preparations are critical to ensuring that our interventions are respectful, effective, and deeply rooted in the communities we aim to serve.

FGM is sustained by silence and fear. Ending it requires trust, education, and courage. Your support helps us open doors to dialogue, amplify survivor voices, and prepare counseling and awareness programs that protect girls before harm occurs, and support women already living with trauma.

While we are still at the beginning of this journey, every movement starts with a few people who choose to act. We invite more compassionate supporters to join you. With increased funding, we can move faster, reaching more families, training more local champions, and protecting more girls from irreversible harm.
