We are happy to inform you that Dosti Welfare Organization has successfully expanded access to education by establishing 16 new One-Room Schools across underserved communities in Pakistan. These schools are part of our mission to end illiteracy by 2030, providing quality education to 2,595 children who were previously out of school.
Key Achievements
Establishment of 16 One-Room Schools
Enrollment of 2,595 students (with nearly equal participation of boys and girls)
Distribution of learning materials and training of volunteer teachers
Ongoing community engagement and awareness drives to sustain enrollment
Community Impact
The initiative continues to transform lives by offering a safe and inclusive space for children who had no access to formal education. Parents and local leaders have reported improved literacy awareness and motivation to support children’s learning.
Next Steps
Expand to 10 more schools by early 2026
Provide teacher training workshops
Introduce a health awareness and nutrition component for enrolled students
