Dear friends,
We are very happy to inform you that GlobalGiving, during August, has decided to donate $ 30,000 to us, in particular to our project "Emergency Covid in Congo" and to the project "Renewable energy for 200 disabled kids in Congo".
During these hard months, our efforts have been focused on the expenses for our centre that is the only facility for disabled children in the whole Congo; so it is of vital importance that it continues its activities. Maguy and all the staff did their utmost not to reduce the interventions and assistance offered to young guests, with particular attention to artistic and recreational activities, very useful for rehabilitation.
Thanks to the invaluable contribution given to us by GlobalGiving and thanks to your numerous donations, we hope to be able to install at least one of the five photovoltaic modules in our centre. Thanks to this intervention, we will be able to better manage some of our children who suffer from epilepsy and/or sleepwalking; having a light at night is essential, both for them and for us.
