We are pleased to inform you that our country manager and a volunteer could finally visit the center. Actually, the spread of COVID-19 seems under control in Congo.
In December we could collect photographic and numerical documentation on the installation of the photovoltaic system, as for example necessary electronic devices or the extent of the surface for the installation of the panels. In our last report we announced you our goal: to buy the plant by the end of the year and make it operational by next spring. Thanks to your support and thanks to the collaboration of an Italian company that supports solidarity projects, we have reached our goal! From now on, Balou center will shine even more!
Great News: we have already bought photovoltaic system and the necessary material for the job will be sent to our center in January. Your support makes our work possible and we are so glad that you are part of our community!
However, we would remind you that Balou center still needs your help! Balou center is still facing a lack of electric energy. Together, we can make it possible!
