Sexuality and reproductive health has been a biggest challenge facing many girls in Ghana. This project will identify, trained and support 200 girls on sexuality issues, LGBTQAI and enhanced their wellbeing and access to paralegal resources and services that will enhance their welfare. They will be trained on their rights, the protection offered by law and they will be supported to form a strong movement
There are currently more than 100,000 young girls in Ghana who have no access to sexual education and majority of young people within the LGBT community do not know their rights and protection offered by the law. The are not organized into any movement and many of them faces discriminations, violence and harassments.
With increased knowledge, skills and information on their rights, the protection offered by law and the services of paralegal education, a lot of young people will get to understand their sexual rights, the protection offered them by laws which will lead to improved wellbeing and protection for particularly girls within the LGBT community.
