Ensure Kimbilio children eat as conflict continues

Hi, Thank you so much for your financial support for this Kimbiio Project that enables the team of carers in Lubumbashi to be able to feed the children flocking to their Day Centre. War continues to be a constant feature of life in the Democratic Republic of Congo, particularly in the east of this large country and, as a consequence, families get displaced and split up. Securing food becomes a real challenge and we see a lot of very hungry children making their way to the big city of Lubumbashi in the hope of being able to get help.

The extra demand for food has stretched the budget of the Day Centre at a time when the cost of food has shot up due to reliance on imports as a result of the fighting, so your donations have made a real difference to the care that Kimbilio can provide to children living on the streets. Thank you.
