Hello!
This is Soo-yeon Jeon from Peace Winds Korea.
Today, we have great news about the childcare learning center!
"A new summer semester"
On July 18th the childcare learning center started summer semester for new students. This year we had 11 students in the nursery class and 16 students in the kinder1 class. The amazing thing is that no one cried, even though it was the first class! Usually one or two children cry at the beginning of a new term, but this time the new students were all happy to be there. It was a new experience for the teacher who has been leading the childcare learning center for many years.
In our summer class, we have been doing "word-for-word" and "developmental activities". The activities prepared by the teacher will help the children get to know their classmates and get used to going to school!
Please support the new students!
"Child of this Month"
A child wearing yellow shirts in a picture will be introduced as the child of this month. The child is future students in the nursery class. One of the funniest things on the first day of class was his brave face with repeating after teacher saying.
With his size you wouldn't think he was 3 years old. At the age of 3 he can follow our work and you can see his serious face when he is working. He followed the class very well and made the teacher happy.
"July's words from the teacher"
On the first day of our summer class, It was great that I met my new students. It's happy because I could see the excitement on their faces when they joined our summer class. I could also see the joy on the faces of the mothers when they saw their children doing things on their own and not crying. The only problem is that we didn't have enough tables and chairs. There are only two tables which more than 10 children can use. So the children couldn't use their table comfortably.
Next week we will start our summer camp for the 1st grade students to prepare their first reading.
