The rate of urbanization in Nigeria is among the highest in the world 6.3 (NEEDS) manufacturing industries are stagnant, there are no more jobs for the growing population and unemployment kept increasing with the highest poor people in the North West of Nigeria. Our focus is Economic Empowerment and Development; By training youths of local community in North West of Nigeria on social entrepreneurship skills to enable them to be self sufficient while making a different the same time
Jobless has resulted in a rising incidence of social ills among our youth, about 70% of the population had income of less than $1 a day and the figure keep rising, poverty levels vary with the highest proportion of poor people in North West of Nigeria. Unemployment is currently estimated at 17.8%, the implications are poverty, crime, conflict and the maintenance of our democracy is at grave. So our activities target social entrepreneurship to empower 200 unemployed youths in north west Nigeria
Training youths on management, leadership, Agricultural development, marketing, sustainable businesses, financial planning and digital skills. We provide time for discussion & exploration of various social issues and approaches to solve them. Mentorship:we provide community of knowledgeable social Entrepreneurs with projects in similar fields to our youth, they act as advisors and teachers. Networking: once trained youths begin developing their project, we connect them with other Entrepreneurs
The project will educate and empower 200 unemployed youths in north west Nigeria allowing them to rise out of poverty, Our activities target youth empowerment and development in order to reverse the negative consequences associated with the past pattern of development. Exposing our participants to social entrepreneurship skills, we re building a generation of modern business starters. We will be build the bridge between our SDG goals and our dream of self sufficiency by 2050
