In Cambodia, a large number of people experience some level of disability. We set up Epic Arts Cafe in 2006 to provide stable employment opportunities for people with disabilities & their families. Ever since, we've welcomed thousands of customers and have been serving the best cheesecake in town! Over the last 14 years we've empowered over 40 people through employment and skills training and we need your help to continue!
We're currently facing our biggest challenge, keeping our social enterprise cafe going so that we can continue to employ our hard-working staff members with disabilities through the COVID crisis. People with disabilities in Cambodia don't have as many employment opportunities as non-disabled people, so our primary concern is keeping our staff employed. With your donation we can make sure we do exactly that throughout the pandemic period.
We're back up and running after 3 weeks of COVID closure. We're encouraging takeaways and practicing social distancing with smaller teams per shift, but tourism is down and we need your help to keep going! Every coffee counts, so donate the price of a virtual cuppa & slice of cake from us and help us to stay open!
Your donation will help us weather the storm and keep our staff with disabilities employed and ready to serve you delicious treats with a smile when you next visit us in Kampot!
