Epidemic Relief Fund for African Health Crises

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Thank you for your generous donations to the Epidemic Relief Fund. Your support represents an important first step toward protecting African communities from disease outbreaks. However, we must report that the amount raised so far is not sufficient to activate the emergency fund.

At this time, we have received $100 in total contributions. While we are grateful for this show of support, the reality is that this amount cannot start the project yet. We remain hopeful that with additional support, we can eventually reach our goal and make this vital resource available.

The need for such a fund becomes more urgent with each passing day. Right now, across Africa, communities are facing cholera outbreaks, Lassa fever cases, and other infectious disease threats. When these emergencies strike, the first hours are critical. Without immediate access to funds for supplies and transport, outbreaks spread faster and claim more lives. Local health workers are often forced to wait for assistance while diseases continue to spread.

We have established the systems needed to manage this fund effectively. We have created a simple application process for frontline organizations and identified suppliers for emergency kits containing essential medical and protective equipment. What we lack are the resources to respond when the next crisis occurs.
