Dear Donors,
We are seeking support for the Equip 50 Village Hospitals with Digital Records project. At this time, no donations have been received, and assistance is needed to begin improving how patient records are managed in rural health facilities.
Many village hospitals still depend on paper files to store patient information. These records are easily damaged, misplaced, or mixed up, leading to delays and errors in care. Health workers often spend valuable time searching for files instead of attending to patients. During emergencies or referrals between clinics, missing information can place lives at risk.
This project plans to equip 50 rural hospitals with tablets, computers, and access to an already developed hospital management system. Health workers will receive hands-on training to record patient visits, treatments, and follow-ups digitally. With accurate records stored securely, staff can retrieve information quickly and make better decisions during care.
Digital records will help reduce mistakes linked to handwriting or lost files and improve continuity of care when patients return or visit another clinic. Patients will no longer need to carry paper folders, and hospitals will be better organized even with limited staff and resources.
Your support can help bring reliable record-keeping to village hospitals and improve daily patient care. We kindly appeal for assistance to help launch this project and equip health workers with tools that support safer and more efficient services.
Kind regards,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
