Dear Donors,
Thank you for supporting the Equip 50 Village Hospitals with Digital Records project. We sincerely appreciate your generosity and commitment to improving healthcare services in underserved communities.
Many rural hospitals continue to depend entirely on paper-based record systems. Patient files can become damaged, misplaced, incomplete, or difficult to retrieve when urgently needed. These challenges can slow clinical decisions, complicate follow-up care, and increase the risk of documentation errors. Health workers often spend valuable time searching for records instead of focusing on patient care.
We are grateful for the donations received so far. However, the funds currently available are not sufficient to begin implementation of the project. Additional support is needed before equipment procurement, software deployment, staff training, installation, and technical support activities can commence.
This project will deploy our already developed hospital management system in 50 rural hospitals and health facilities. The intervention includes providing tablets, computers, and practical training for healthcare workers. Once implemented, hospitals will be able to manage patient information electronically, improve record retrieval, track treatments more efficiently, and strengthen continuity of care.
Digital records can help reduce paperwork, improve accuracy, and make patient information available when needed. Health workers can access medical histories more quickly, monitor follow-up visits, and improve communication between departments. These improvements can contribute to better patient management and more efficient hospital operations.
We remain committed to bringing this project to the hospitals that need it most and continue seeking the resources required to launch the first phase. As progress is made, we look forward to sharing updates on participating facilities, installation activities, and the impact of digital health tools on patient care.
Thank you for helping modernize healthcare services in rural communities and supporting safer, more efficient patient care.
Warm regards,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
