As part of our ongoing Save the Workers project, Mission Kharkiv has continued to deliver vital first aid training to employees of Ukraine’s critical infrastructure enterprises.
During this reporting period, we conducted 24 training sessions directly at the sites of the Kharkiv Railway, and Sumy Railway branch.
A total of 358 employees completed the training, gaining practical life-saving skills to provide timely first aid in the workplace. These sessions ensure that workers – often the very first responders in emergencies – can act with confidence and efficiency when it matters most.
We place special emphasis on teaching staff how to use the first aid kits provided. Because having the tools is not enough – knowing how to use them correctly is what saves lives.
This initiative is especially important as Ukraine’s energy and transport sectors continue to operate under constant threat of missile strikes, making preparedness a crucial element of resilience for those who keep essential services running for millions of people.
We remain committed to supporting infrastructure workers with both knowledge and life-saving equipment, thanks to the generosity of our partners and supporters.
Our heartfelt thanks go out to everyone who makes this work possible.
