Standing with those who keep Ukraine running

By Liudmyla Korol | Digital Communications Manager

In the midst of war and ongoing threats to critical infrastructure across Ukraine, frontline workers continue to stand as the backbone of essential services that sustain daily life. Their resilience and dedication make it possible for entire systems to keep functioning under extraordinary pressure. Supporting their safety and preparedness has never been more urgent.

Through the Save The Workers program, Mission Kharkiv provides targeted training sessions designed to strengthen the capacity of professionals working in high-risk environments. These trainings focus on safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and practical skills that help reduce risks and protect lives in daily operations.

In March 2026, we conducted a total of 39 training sessions, reaching 686 participants across key infrastructure sectors.

These activities were made possible thanks to the generous support of our donors. Your commitment allows us to continue delivering life-saving knowledge and strengthening resilience exactly where it is needed most.

In total:

  • Public Transport Sector: 11 trainings for 136 participants
  • Energy and Gas Infrastructure Sector: 28 trainings for 550 participants

Each training session exists because someone chose to support this work. Because of you, essential workers receive tools that help them stay safer in environments where risk has become a daily reality.

Your contribution is not abstract; it translates directly into safer workplaces, stronger preparedness, and greater resilience across critical infrastructure.

Thank you for standing with us. And most importantly, for standing with those who keep Ukraine running.
