There is always great excitement at the project on the days when our young people move off of the streets into a house. We are now happy to say that all of our WOW 9's have been housed. They are now ready for the next phase of their lives. Photographed are Joseph and Omar who are sharing a house together. Omar has started a carpentry apprenticeship and Joseph is learning to service bicycles.
As we begin with our 10th group of WOW we continue to support those from WOW 9 for a further 6 months. Each Friday we invite past WOW members to visit us if they wish to chat about how their lives are. For many WOW is the closest thing that they have to a family.
Next week we are planning for the WOW 9 graduation so lots of preparation over the next few days. The next report will give photos of this big day for our young people.
As always thanks to those of you who support us and who make what we do possible. Funding continues to be a challenge. At times we are wondering will WOW 10 be our last group but we hope and pray this will not be the case.
Bye for now!!
