In 2017 our PEP Ana Julca, proposed to travel to Lima with her 4th year high school students from the school "Santiago Antúnez de Mayolo" of Carhuayoc, Ancash. The objective was to work on their motivation, their desire to go further, the conviction to transform their environment, with education as the main tool. And so they did it.
They undertook a trip to Lima, Peru’s capital, where they performed various activities that allowed them to try things they had never thought of, to share with professionals who told them their success stories, to know the latest technologies of 3D printing, to expose their palate to new flavors, to bathe in the pools of the Magic Circuit of The Waters and challenge themselves swimming with sea lions!
Definitely, having the opportunity to spend a few days out of the routine and living new experiences motivated them to internalize that desire to go out, to know the world and to challenge it. "This year 2018 brings several challenges, among them, the main one is to continue working from the classrooms of the school in Carhuayoc so that the transformation that we have started in the students will be consolidated. I take this challenge with much encouragement because the good vibes fill me with energy and I know that the other year we will achieve much more. "- Ana Julca.
