VETNGO conducted an Eye Screening Camp for the Teaching and non teaching faculty members and students.Aravind Eye Hospital Eye checkup team is helping for the society by giving the Free EyeCheck up camp in rural areas, Educational Institutions and villages. The Eye camp began at 10.00 a.m. in room no. 311 for the convenience of all the faculty and the students. Our Volunteers gave their time to educate all the students of our colleges in the regard of Eye checkup camp. It will be very helpful for the needy people who are struggling with Eye problems.
The drivers, Non teaching faculty members were also asked to take up the eye check-up. The objective of this event was to spread awareness on eye disorder, early detection and detect refractive errors and eye ailments for the working people. More than 47 teaching and non teaching faculty members and 97 students participated in Eye camp which included teaching & non-teaching staff and students.
After the Eye check up every member got the report. Everyone was counselled and explained about present eye health, measures to be taken and lifestyle counselling were given. A corporate privilege card was given to all for their family members eye check-up with discounts. Mr. Simon Jeyasundar expressed his gratitude to the Team members from the Hospital. The Camp was organised by the team ogf staff in school and public involvement
