Gracias! Thank you for your continuous support!

By Ana Gomez-Gallardo | COO

We are grateful for your trust and support. Thanks to the support of allies like you, today, we can safely say that our actions have left a positive mark on Mexican society. Thanks to the Profesionales de Enseña por México, alumni, staff, supporters and educational communities, we have been able to improve educational results in communities with enormous potential but limited resources, fostering a vocation for leadership and teaching and demonstrating that education can be the engine of development and social mobility.

At this moment, we are impacting more than 18,000 students through the collaboration of over 240 teaching fellows (Profesionales de Enseña por México/PEM) in 208 undereserved schools in 13 states who are building deep relationships with educational communities committed to making long-term progress for children. Historically, with the collaboration of over 1000 alumni we have impacted more than 170,000 students in 11 years.

This numbers let's us know that we are closer to our vision to consolidate a broad, diverse and inclusive movement of leading agents of change in Mexico, so that all girls, boys and youth have access to an education that guarantees them to develop their full potential regardless of their context.

Changing outcomes for children requires changes in policy, practice, and culture—which means it requires people exercising leadership at every level of education and government, from inside and outside of the system. Meaningful, sustainable change also takes many people working together across lines of difference and levels of power, and led by those who have experienced the inequities being addressed. We call this collective leadership.

Your contribution to Enseña por México supports our efforts to develop this collective leadership to ensure all children have the education, opportunity, and support they need to fulfill their potential.
