Here is Lamisse smiling and thanking you!

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

Lamisse... that little girl who grew up in harsh conditions, stands before you today with confidence, her bright smile lighting up her face. She has achieved what was unexpected in her harsh environment: success and excellence in the ninth grade!

Do you remember her beginnings? An orphan, living in a tent that neither shields her from the harsh winter cold nor the scorching summer heat, facing new challenges every day amidst extreme poverty and deprivation. All she had was a simple dream: to continue her education to become a support for her family. And you were the benevolent hand that reached out to her and pushed her towards realizing her dreams.

Today, as she stands on the threshold of a new stage in her life, Lamisse wishes her father were here to share her joy, and she feels a deep gratitude to you all. She no longer views the world through the eyes of a desperate child thinking about how to support her mother and earn a decent living, but sees life filled with opportunities and possibilities.

This success is not just a celebration of a personal achievement; it is a celebration of the great change you have brought about: a life transformed, a future redrawn, and a great hope reborn.

Today, as we celebrate this great achievement, we know her journey does not end here—it has just begun, thanks to your ongoing support and belief in her ability to excel
