Feed 150 vulnerable childrens from Belo Horizonte

Hello to all!!!
In July something incredible happened, I participated in a show!! A real show in a real theater, it was beautiful! I was forgetting I was the lead.

Excuse me I introduce myself I am Isac and I am a child who has been attending the Centro de Acolhida Betania for a year. Ever since I started Charles, the dance teacher, he kept telling me there would be a show at the end of the year, but I couldn’t believe it and it really happened.

It happened on Saturday night, July 8th, and the professor explained to me what I had to wear to make the dance that I had prepared with my class, it was a hip hop dance, a genre that I really like.

I was super excited and when the theater curtains opened I almost didn’t believe it, then the music started, my classmates started dancing and I took courage and did everything I had learned in the dance lab.

When we finished everyone applauded loudly, and I saw in the audience the proud look of my grandmother!! I didn’t think it was such a good thing to be the star of a show. The Centro de Acolhida Betania is giving me this opportunity together with many others, a good lunch every day and many friends. The Show mentioned by Isac, a 12-year-old boy, was the end of the first semester of theCentro de Acolhida Betania where each workshop presented the work done in the previous months. 170 children and adolescents participated and were excited to show their skills to their families and supporters of the centre.
