In Goma, 40 blind and deaf children from rural areas face daily hunger and malnutrition. Due to rising food prices and limited access to nutritious meals, these children often go to school on empty stomachs. This not only affects their health but also weakens their ability to concentrate and learn. Without proper nutrition, their chances to thrive in school and in life are at serious risk.
We will provide three balanced meals a day to 40 blind and deaf children at Nguvu Yetu Center. With your help, we will train staff in child nutrition and start a small poultry farm and vegetable garden to ensure food sustainability. This approach gives the children the strength to learn, grow, and live in dignity-while building long-term food security within the center.
This project creates a sustainable nutrition system for 40 blind and deaf children in Goma. By growing food and raising poultry, the center will reduce dependency on external food aid.
