The entire world is currently battling the COVID-19 pandemic and Nigeria is not exempted from this battle. The country is designated the poverty capital of the world and currently faces famine. Many rural Nigerian families are finding it extremely difficult to get one of their basic physiological needs - food with many flouting physical distancing and other preventive measures in the scramble for survival. This project will help provide food supplies to 500 households in rural locations
COVID-19 has worsened the economic situation in Nigeria - a country already ranked as the poverty capital of the world. With the lockdown and recently the food scarcity and hike in prices of food stuff, more households are being pushed into extreme poverty and are unable to feed. Although the Government has released grains from the national reserves, this is not enough for over 90 million Nigerians who live in extreme poverty. This project will affect 500 worse off households in rural areas
Obijackson Foundation will provide food supplies to 500 starving households in rural inaccessible villages in Nigeria.
This project will provide food relief to 500 starving households. The food relief will improve the nutritional status of these households and enable them stay safe during this crisis. The food supplies will also provide them with nourishment to stay healthy enough to explore other means of generating income for self sustenance
