Feed & Clothe Homeless Almajiri Children

By Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

Thank you for supporting this life-changing project to feed and clothe 1,000 Almajiri and homeless street children in Northern Nigeria. Your generosity brings hope, dignity, and care to children who face daily hunger and hardship.

Across many cities, these children live on the streets, begging to survive, often without clean clothes, shelter, or basic hygiene. Many have been abandoned or sent far from home, leaving them vulnerable to abuse, illness, and extreme deprivation.

This project provides regular hot meals, clean clothing, and hygiene supplies. Working with trusted local groups, we also create safe spaces where children can eat, rest, and be treated with respect. This support reduces hunger, sickness, and the stress of daily survival, while offering opportunities to engage with learning and care programs.

We sincerely thank donors who made it possible to carry out the first milestone of this project. We now appeal for additional support to continue this critical work, helping more children stay healthy, safe, and open to future opportunities, including the chance for adoption into caring homes.

Thank you for standing with these vulnerable children and helping change their lives.

With thanks,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
Project Leader
