Introduction
According to our world data 697 million people around the world are suffering from severe food insecurity! 22% of children under the age of 5 are suffering from stunted growth due to malnourishment. Assisting these communities has been our focus over the last 10 months. Since the beginning of the year we have managed to provide 470485 meals to individuals in communities suffering from food insecurity across 5 different countries. Our goal is to provide nourishment and food security to those who need it most.
Report
In Brazil and Costa Rica our feeding programs support early childhood development centers supporting children under 5 with carefully planned nutritious meals to ensure adequate growth and development. This is inspired by the tragic statistic of 22% who have suffered from stunted growth.
We would love to continue to grow our initiatives in promoting food security and expand our footprint into other countries and communities!
