We hope all is well with you, wherever you are in the world. Here in Brazil, we’ve been facing some challenges, but we continue to persevere and make progress each day.
Firstly, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who has contributed to our project over the years. As of today, we have raised a total of $29,877. These funds have been instrumental in feeding our children and ensuring they go to bed with full stomachs - a truly remarkable achievement!
In an effort to reduce costs, our team has reached out to the community for donations of essential items. We’ve also revised our menu to focus on cost-effective, nutritious foods like rice, beans, and fruit for the month. Additionally, we’ve enlisted a local team to help us establish a vegetable garden at the school - a fundraiser for this will be launched soon.
While we can’t achieve all of this overnight, we remain committed to our fundraising efforts. Our goal is not only to feed the children but also to build a productive vegetable garden over the next six months. This will significantly reduce our food bill to just $0.45 per child.
