Feed a Hungry Child in Brazil Today

Hello Lovely Supporters,

We hope things are going well around the world, here in Brazil it's been a little tough but we are still cooking and getting through day to day. 

Firstly we want to say a massive thank you to every single person that has donated to our project over the years and as of today we have raised a total of $29,000 that has all gone towards feeding our children and helping them go to bed will a full stomach - now that is a real achievement! 

In May we took a total of all donations $289, which is the lowest we have ever raised in one month but we understand that people are struggling and therefore we decided to review our project costs again, we usually do this every six months but with the current climate we decided this needs to be a monthly task.

Our team reached out to the community to see what items can be donated to help us cut the shopping bill, we changed the menu to be focused on rice and beans and fruit for the month as this really helps us cut costs, we also sourced a local team to help us prepare a veggie garden at the school so we will be launching a fundraiser for this soon. 

Although we can't do it over night and we still need to keep fundraising to feed the children as well as build a veggie garden that is producing crops we are confident that this can be achieved over the next 6 months and then this will cut our food bill to $0.45 per child. 

We are very excited to start focusing on a long term sustainable solution to feed our children and we would love your support by sharing our project with friends, family and your wider network as we are confident with crowdfunding we can do it!
