Due to the global pandemic and natural disasters, the 2020 - 2021 school year has certainly been a challenging one for students in central Vietnam. But with the support and friendship of donors like you, PeaceTrees was able to provide immediate emergency relief and essential disease prevention supplies such as masks, digital thermometers, hand sanitizer and mobile sinks.
To celebrate the end of the school year, PeaceTrees staff visited each of our 19 kindergartens, and gifted the students with school supplies and treats for next year! 232 students graduated from our kindergartens and are moving on to the first grade. We hope you will join us in celebrating the end of the school year and the start of a new chapter for these dedicated students!
PeaceTrees Vietnam is also thrilled to announce the opening of Cua Kindergarten! The 32 school-age children of Cua Village will now have access to a safe learning environment and receive a healthy and nutritious meal every day. With your partnership, PeaceTrees can further support the next generation of Vietnam's leaders and expand our area of impact as we continue to address the legacy of war.
